wilderness is unmine-able

I dont know if you know about this, but at the moment the wilderenss does'nt seem to be working. i cant place or break blocks at all. just wondering if its intentionall or if its to do with the 1.2.4 update.

We are aware. We are trying to resolve the issue of people digging underground around other people's areas, or potential areas in the wilderness. One idea we had was have a mining area you can continually dig in and over time the place you dig will regenerate with random chance of certain minerals. That way they don't regenerate in the same place but they do regenerate.
